Terms

Terms of use and membership

The rules for using this site and being part of the Society, in plain language. By applying or joining, you agree to them.

Last updated September 30, 2026

Who we are

The Audacity Society is run by Nikki Ramirez and Aparna Boehm through The Audacity Society LLC ("we" or "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].

Joining

  • The Society is by application. We read every one ourselves and we get to decide who joins.
  • You have to be 18 or older.
  • Your membership is for you. Please do not share your login or pass along materials to people who are not members.

Price and payment

  • The founding rate is $1,750 for the year. You can pay in full, or in 3 payments of $584, or 6 payments of $292. Payment plans are for the full year, so you are agreeing to every payment in the plan.
  • If a payment fails, we will let you know. If it is not sorted out, we may pause your access until it is.
  • Founding members keep the founding rate for as long as their membership continues without a break.

Renewal

Your membership renews automatically each year at your locked rate, unless you cancel. We will email you before it renews. To cancel, email us before your renewal date and your membership will end at the end of your current year.

Refunds

[CONFIRM WITH NIKKI: all sales are final and we do not offer refunds, including partial refunds for unused time]

What you get, and what we cannot promise

We will run what the site describes: live sessions, expert guests, the community, the Archive, and the rest. The calendar, guests, and specific content may change as the Society grows.

What we cannot promise is a result. We do not guarantee a promotion, a raise, a job, clients, followers, or income. What you get out of the Society depends on you, your situation, and a lot of things outside anyone's control.

Not professional advice

Everything we share is education and our own experience. It is not legal, financial, tax, medical, or mental health advice, and it is not therapy. For those, talk to a licensed professional.

Our stuff and your stuff

  • Our templates, recordings, workshops, and materials belong to us. You can use them for your own career and business. Please do not resell them, republish them, or share them outside the Society.
  • What you post stays yours. By posting in the community, you let us show it to other members inside the Society.
  • Live sessions may be recorded and added to the Archive for members. If you would rather not be on camera, keep your video off.

How we all behave

Everyone agrees to our Society guidelines. If someone seriously or repeatedly breaks them, we may remove them from the Society, without a refund.

The legal part

  • The site and the Society are provided as is. We work hard to keep everything running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free.
  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you will not be more than what you paid us in the last 12 months.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
  • If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top and email members about anything important.
